Automatic Switching Between Vaporizers

The main feature for these systems is the ability to automatically alternate between two or more ambient air vaporizers used to vaporize liquid oxygen into gaseous form. This helps prevent excessive ice buildup on any single vaporizer which reduces efficiency.

Control Panel

A NEMA-rated electrical control panel houses the controls for the automatic switching, including:

  • Adjustable interval timing relay to set switch cycle duration
  • System status indicator lights

Optional low temperature switch to detect downstream gas temperature

Vaporizer Connections

The manifold includes inlet connections to attach liquid oxygen dewars/cylinders, as well as an outlet manifold with filter, regulator, and control valves to supply the vaporized gaseous oxygen. Vent connections allow cylinders to equalize.

Compact and Portable Design

The switching manifold and multiple vaporizers are designed as a relatively compact.  By automatically alternating between vaporizers, these systems help maximize vaporization efficiency and output flow rates compared to a single continuously operating vaporizer.
